Meet Melissa Becker (mjbecker)

High all,
Bill and Karen are my in-laws thus making me married to their son Chris. Chris and I have a son, Carston, born on Christmas eve 2006. I also have two black tri Border Collies that are mother and son, Quinaby and Boomerang. Both dogs are certified through Dove Lewis Animal Assisted Therapy & Education (DLAATE) program. I volunteer with them on Friday mornings at Rosewood Assisted Living and Retirement Center in Hillsboro and at Edward's Center an adult daycare in Aloha. To add to my animals I have and raise Palomino rabbits and have Oxford mixed sheep at my dad's.

I am the webmaster and forum builder for Becker's Auto Restoration.

My main link to cars is through Chris and his family. My dad builds 3/4 scale P-51 Mustangs (airplanes) known as Thunder Mustangs. I helped my dad, Jim Stark, with paint prep for a couple of years. I have taken that knowledge and combined with Bill's bodywork expertise and started restoring vintage pedal cars for Carston.

Welcome, Melissa, to the Beckers Restoration forum. You have done a great job with the website! We look forward to many more posts from you in the future.

As for Carston, we all know that he was born to love cars! Having traveled in them from the time he was 3 months old and his constant presence in the shop, I am certain, have implanted a strong love for the 4 wheeled wonders. Keep raisin' him up right to love those cars! He is the next generation!
